Hope for Haiti is a non-profit organization founded in 1999 that is dedicated to shining the light of Jesus by providing compassionate care, education, and a safe, stable environment for Haitian children facing severe poverty and acute food insecurity.
The organization now operates in a new, safe location after evacuating Fontana Village to escape escalating gang violence, continuing its vital work toward safe family reunification while ensuring that the children attend church and a private Christian school. This mission is more urgent than ever, as The World Bank notes that nearly two-thirds of the population lives below the poverty line, and over 5.8 million people face crisis levels of food insecurity. Because all U.S.-based staff and officers operate strictly as uncompensated volunteers, 100% of your tax-deductible donation goes directly toward critical funding needs for our new location—including finding a new permanent home—as well as daily food, medical expenses, housing, and education.
